Call me Catherine Di Medici

So… filling out college applications can be a bit of a drag. So many questions about me, me, me. Then I came to this part:

Preferred name could mean nickname, or it could mean what you would PREFER people to call you.
I.E., the name of your alter ego.
So of course I obliged:

It was meant to be a joke to cheer me up as I went through the monotonous task of checking and rechecking all of my applicaiton info. I suppose I didn’t do as much careful checking as a thought.

A FEW MONTHS LATER… I logged into my student account to check an application status.

Imagine my surprise when I am greeted as,

Catherine Di Medici!
Catherine Di Medici has applied to UNC Chapel Hill. Welcome Catherine Di Medici.
Now, everytime I go online to check my status, depending on my mood, I have to either throw my head in my hands or let out an evil laugh.
I hope UNC doesn’t have a no villainous 16th century French queens policy.

I'm Susanna, a 20-year-old Christian girl incorrigibly addicted spontaneous adventures. My first dream was to become a pioneer. Unfortunately, I was born a couple centuries late, so I've decided to read, cook, run, and travel the world until my time machine is finished. You'll mostly likely find me getting into trouble and/or eating licorice. I am currently blogging the misadventures of a middle-school teacher in training. Come join me on my quest to become the next Ms. Frizzle!
