Your Elusive Creative Genius

Cause sometime all you need to drive out that writer’s block is a good TED talk.

It is MONDAY… time for posting about books and writing and words words words. Unfortunately, I haven’t finished piecing together my summer reading list. So instead of my rambles, you get to listen to one of the best ted talks of all time. Not a bad trade, I’d say.

This past month I’ve been dealing with some major writer’s block. It was discouraging and miserable. It wasn’t that I wasn’t feeling inspired, I felt worthless and incapable as a writer. Seriously guys… I have writing projects that I was SUPPOSED to be working on that I PUSHED AWAY because I felt completely underqualified to do anything more than mediocre. And there is nothing I hate more than mediocre.

This TED talk really pushed me back into the writing game. I hope it can encourage all my fellow writing/ blogger buddies.

ENJOY:

I'm Susanna, a 20-year-old Christian girl incorrigibly addicted spontaneous adventures. My first dream was to become a pioneer. Unfortunately, I was born a couple centuries late, so I've decided to read, cook, run, and travel the world until my time machine is finished. You'll mostly likely find me getting into trouble and/or eating licorice. I am currently blogging the misadventures of a middle-school teacher in training. Come join me on my quest to become the next Ms. Frizzle!
