Halo everyone! OKAY, THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT.
So basically I’ve been considering the goals for my blog lately and here is what I’ve got:
- I love writing about studying abroad and travel adventures.
- I love blogging about my escapades into the world of literature and writing
- The people who enjoy reading about my study abroad adventures may or may not be the same folks who are interested in my fictional ventures.
Conclusion: I think trying to post about both of those interests under one umbrella blog just isn’t working. As I have begun to write more about studying abroad, my fictional adventures have been thrust to the back burner. AND I DON’T WANT THAT. I am re-editing my first novel and starting a bajillion more. I need my writing and reading buddies.
My blog would be more organized and better suited for readers if I split it up. I’ll keep this blog for personal updates, studying abroad tips, and travel tips and stories. I will also start a new blog that I like to call Sensical Scribblings
(check it out, it is live). There I will post the ramblings of an authoress in training: book reviews, WIP snippets, writerly discussions, bibliophile ponderings… I think you get the picture.
If you are interested in both my misadventures and my bookish escapades, please follow both. I don’t want to lose any friends!
ONE MORE THING
Since I am in the process of revamping my blogs and making them better for YOU (yes, YOU), I was wondering if you could let me know in the poll below (or leave a comment, even better) what kind of content you enjoy most from this blog and what you would like to see more of.
Go ahead, fill it out. Make my day!
