My Ten Favorite New British Words

SURPRISE! I am in a library in Wales taking a short break from endless essay writing. Exam period is so much fun. And no, that is not my newfound sense of British sarcasm. I really mean it. Yesterday I realized that there is no better way to spend a rainy afternoon than curled up with a cup of coffee exploring 18th century England and 13th century Italy and Mongolia. I’m a happy history major.

But I digress… I need to get back to study and revision, but first I want to announce that I’ve been featured on Victoria’s lovely blog The Endless Oceans of My Mind. I wrote about my favorite new British words and phrases, so if you wanna learn to talk like a Brit, you better go check it out.

I hope you all are having a wonderful day! Now I’m back to time travel in the library and some essay writing on the side ; )

I'm Susanna, a 20-year-old Christian girl incorrigibly addicted spontaneous adventures. My first dream was to become a pioneer. Unfortunately, I was born a couple centuries late, so I've decided to read, cook, run, and travel the world until my time machine is finished. You'll mostly likely find me getting into trouble and/or eating licorice. I am currently blogging the misadventures of a middle-school teacher in training. Come join me on my quest to become the next Ms. Frizzle!
